Gose Smash Burgers

Photo report for Gose Smash Burgers, opening event of the store and photos of the burgers

With GoseI made the opening report of the establishment, which was a success since it was packed and we also took photographs of the burgers for use on social networks. I used my Fujifilm cameras and two of my brand lenses. One equivalent to a 24-70mm, to capture space and isolate groups of people and the other a lens equivalent to a 70-200mm, to capture moments, details and isolate people individually. Working with two cameras allows me greater agility since I don’t have to keep changing lenses. It also gives me extra security because if one of the two fails I can continue with the report. For the photos of the hamburgers I used the equivalent of the 70-200mm that Fujifilm has since this type of lens helps focus the focus on the subject we are photographing, separating it from the background and giving it greater prominence.

Corporate portrait and branding report for Belbin Spain

The Belbin team contacted me as they needed to renew the photos on the website. In pre-production we prepared a list of 40 photographs, among which were corporate portraits (individual and group), photographs of their products, aimed at improving team roles for other companies, and photographs using them. To take the portraits I used artificial lighting, a Godox AD600BM flash with a 100cm octa, this generates a soft and uniform light and together with the help of a reflector to fill in the shadow side we achieved the corporate look they wanted. For the rest of the report I relied on natural light and simply used the flash when it was necessary to fill in a shadow. I used my Fujifilm brand camera with the lenses, 16-50mm and 50-140mm depending on the type of plane that needed to be photographed. The first lens for general to medium shots and the second for main shots and details. “Belbin helps develop people in organizations, attract and retain talent, and enhance team performance. Its tool, generated from academic research and an international reference, provides a clear understanding of the strengths and weaknesses present in work teams.Belbin provides managers with the understanding and practical language they need to create balanced and high-performing teams, manage labor relations and achieve organizational objectives.”

Photo report for the Georgian restaurant Samaia, located in Bilbao

Samaia pays tribute to Queen Tamar of Georgia, the first woman to rule the nation in the 12th-13th centuries, embodying strength, grace and leadership. The name is inspired by the Georgian Samaia dance, performed by three women, symbolizing beauty, collaboration and connection. In the heart of Bilbao, three Georgian women unite their roots and passions to bring Samaia to life, carrying forward tradition, sharing their heritage through cuisine and hospitality. Samaia contacted me for the first time to do a report on the opening of the establishment, where photos of the dishes and the opening event were taken. The restaurant has been packed since its opening. Later they contacted me again both to take photos of the dishes and to have content for social networks, as well as portraits of the founders and cooks and photos of the space they have. For the plate and portrait photos I used my Fujifilm brand equipment and Godox lighting equipment, brands I have worked with for years. For the space photos I mounted the camera on a tripod and used the decentering lenses used in architectural and interior photography. I leave you a summary of the reports we have done during this time.

Photo report for Laugar, a company dedicated to craft beer production

Laugar Brewery is one of the best-known craft beer factories in Spain. Located in the Biscayan town of Gordexola, it stands out above all for its black beers, which have earned it a more than deserved fame throughout the national territory. They also export internationally. They have a taproom, a space where you can enjoy craft beers straight from the tap in a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. The Laugar Brewery team needed photos of its Tap Room, of the manufacturing and labeling spaces, portraits of the members of the company, executing their functions as well as photos of the beers, each of them with their own style and character since they have different product lines. The pre-production was done jointly with the Crisis Design team. In this report different photographic disciplines were combined:
        • On the one hand, my specialty is to describe the spaces in terms of architecture and interior photography, both the interior spaces of the factory and the tap room and the exterior.
        • We also carry out portrait photography, both corporate in nature and focused on use on social networks.
        • Last but not least, we take product photographs with artificial (and also natural) lighting indoors. And others outdoors with natural light. Photographing each bottle with its character. For the bottles with images of animals we used grass, which together with the harsh sunlight generated a nice tonal contrast. The black beers with Soviet motifs were photographed with hard light against the concrete floor of the warehouse, associating the hardness of the Soviet character with the materials used in the background. We also photographed Kendu beer, on the hood of a car and on the driver’s seat, winking since it is a non-alcoholic beer.

Photo report for the hydrogen energy production company Protio Power

Protio was born in 2021 from the need to decarbonize the planet with the goal of zero emissions in 2050. We are a technology company with innovative DNA where our goal is to develop fuel cell systems to reduce the use of fossil fuels. To achieve this goal, we offer our clients sustainable solutions for energy production using hydrogen as an energy vector. Protio has been located since its inception in the Basque Country, in the province of Bizkaia, taking advantage of this technological pole for the development of our fuel cell systems in an industrial environment with great synergies and opportunities with other innovation companies and achieving a strong chain of supply.

In this company they needed photos of the offices and the laboratory, as well as corporate portraits and the technological elements they use. Therefore we combine portrait techniques, product photography and architectural and interior photography.

From the point of view of post-production, they needed a quick delivery, within two days since they had to present the project at a technology fair, they also wanted contrasted and colorful images, this applied for images with colorful elements, for For portraits, on the other hand, a clear and correct image was chosen, just as an aseptic look was sought for the spaces and laboratory elements.
